TANZBRISE by Windfall out of Tariana
|
Since some of the posts from just before the server change have not been restored (yet...), I am going to re-announce the arrival of TANZBRISE, a filly by Windfall out of Tariana by Graditz, foaled May 23, AND announce the arrival of ITASOPHIA, another Windfilly out of Itamignon by Avignon, foaled May 29!
Both bay, Brise with four whites and Sophie with hind socks and a star, are both lovely mixes of Daddy with their respective mamas.
Newer pix will be posted on our site as I get time

Thanks, everyone! Unfortunately we can't keep everyone, even though they are fillies. We have only bred two colts so far, so we would really be hip-deep in horses here!

Okay, just went to the additional photos of Tanzbrize. What a beautiful head!! 
What a wonderful producer Tariana has become: first, Tanzelfe, then Tanzdiva and now this little beauty!! Great filly, congratulations.

Congratulations!
I am the proud owner of a 8 year old WINDFALL gelding.
I bought Varsteiner 5 years ago in Germany when I was living in Luxembourg. After a 3 year stay in UK I am now in Australia. Varsteiner or Viper we call him made the trip with me.
It is very exiting to see some of his sisters and brothers.
Would love to hear from anyone with Windfall offspring's..

Twingates, what's wrong with linebreeding to Graditz (as long as the substance is there)?
Brise to Taz would be the granddaughter-son (of Graditz) cross and Gipper (Toujours Moi) to Taz would be the greatgranddaughter-son cross. The old desert Arabs (as well as the Crabbet stud) frequently followed the daughter-to-grandson formula with success, but this is the opposite...

Hoping this is an appropriate post to your trakehner site, I wanted to share my picture of my Windfall colt, Captain Jack Windfall...who just received a Class one rating at the SWANA inspection. My main mare book mare was bred to Windfall and she produced this "elegant" colt as the Swedish judge noted. Windfall has been accepted into the SWANA stallion registry. He was given a "9" for type! He loves to gallop and chase the fillies.

Congratulations on your colt's inspection success and welcome to the board! I was going to PT you on the Chronicle forums to see your little guy.
Lucky you--you got a BLACK Windfoal! We can't seem to breed a black foal to save our lives here
