I love Trakehners!

Has anyone bred to this stallion? I just got his video and really like what I saw. What does he throw when crossed with Trakehner mares? Are there any on the ground? What are some opinions about him.

I saw him in person. He is a very good mover, but that will show on the tape.
A friend bred Polar Heigh to him. She is the mother of Polar's Pearl, the new Model Mare who scored a perfect 10 this fall.
She is looking for a small horse who can really move -- with these two parents, she will get it.

We had a lovely colt by Aul Magic this year, out of our mare Himmlische by Matador. He sold pre-weaning to a performance home that wanted a nice half-Arabian to compete in Dressage with. We bred our mare back and are hoping for Filly this year to keep in our breeding program! I would recommend him to anyone who wants a little more refinement in their mare and/or someone who loves great movement (don't we all??). Our foal kept all the power of the dam with more elasticity and elevation from Aul Magic. I just hope that Trakehner owners will realize his value as a stallion before he is too old.

Thank you! That's exactly the kind of feedback I was seeking. I get the feeling sometimes that Trakehner owners are reluctant to breed to Arabian stallions. Everyone wants the Arabian, but "back 4 generations". Myself, I like the Arabian on top, because I think the size doesn't suffer as much. Your colt is beautiful, Heather!
