TANZBRISE by Windfall out of Tariana

;DI am pleased to announce the arrival of ITAMERIKA, a chestnut filly by Kaspareit out of Itamignon by Avignon. Rika was born on Sunday, May 26 at 10:15 am, and baby and mama are doing well. We are absolutely thrilled that Kasp has left one more wonderful daughter to carry on his legacy.
We also had a winner in our baby pool, so congratulations to KATHLEEN TREMBLAY of Quebec, Canada, who correctly predicted date, gender, and color. Congrats also to Mary Dezelski, who guessed the date and the gender.

Congrats, Ingrid! This year's baby aught to be spoiled with no other babies to hog the attention! Baybe I'll try to come up and see her - don't know if the road trip we were going to do will still happen - I've been out of work, and we're a week and a half from starting to frame the house.
And isn't this the second time I've been runner-up in the baby pool? One of these times I'll get it right.
Anyhow, have a blast with the new kid.

CONGRATULATIONS!
It was a full moon on the 26th -- (two mares foaled in our area, also).
What a wonderful name! And yes, Kaspariet continues!!! Thats what it's really all about -- keep those wonderful qualities from horse to horse.
I'm really happy for you!

Thanks everyone--this kid is just a peach! There is something particularly neat about the redheaded K girls, and this one is a shining example. I will post pix soon--even ordered a new camera!--but for now there is only a headshot from day one (so it looks like a big head on a stick neck!). She is unfolding and developing fantastically and I could not be happier with this little pumpkin!

Nice baby!! Love that face. And it sure does seem to be the year for redheads in general. Of all the foals I've seen this year, they're all chestnuts except for one bay and one grulla.
