Is anyone else having problems staying logged in?

Loyal contributor Karim is having problems staying logged in to the system. I was not aware of the problem. If anyone else is having trouble, shoot me an email at ttp@atrakehner.com

I had a bit of trouble the other day, (logged in, but as soon as I'd move to another page "guest" would show up in the top corner) but today I clicked the "stay logged in" option and have been able to post. Karim, have you tried this? BTW, Ingrid, you're doing a great job keeping on top of the techno stuff that keeps this page working in spite of glitches. Grin

OK, I have gotten emails from about 5 people who are having, or have had, problems staying logged in. Tongue

I am sorry to not be able to help you more, but nothing has changed on the system that would affect your ability to stay logged in. We have not had a system update in months. Huh

I suggest that anyone who is having a problem should look at the old posts under this heading in "Administrivia" for possible fixes. These would include:

- making sure that you check the "always stay logged on" box when you log in;

- using the "windows update" feature from your start menu to make sure your version of windows is up to snuff;

- going into your "cookies" in "Temporary Internet Files" on your computer and delete the forum cookie. The name is "trakehnertreffpunkt" or it may show up in your menu as "cookie:yourusernameonyourcomputer@www.atrakehner" When you log back in, the cookie will be put back on your system.

Hope that helps.

In the next couple months the system will probably be changing over to a new package again, and then we will have a whole new round of issues Wink

Hi the only problem I am having is trying to download photo but is says there is no space?? it is only 70kb and is a jpg??
