The black 15.3H stallion Prince of Prussia was approved.

There was a nice collection of horses related to Schubert, the Virgil son who stood in the High Desert in the 80s.

Gretchen Lasater, site host, presented a gorgeous granddaughter of Schubert who received 60 points and was pronounced a model mare. A rare honor indeed.

Two foals by Sinatra and one by Pyatt Charley were seen.

The model mare is by Horizon out of Polar Heigh, who is a small daughter of Schubert with Condus on the bottom side.

A 2-year-old colt by Impressionist out of Polar was also viewed as well as her '03 baby by Sinatra.

Thanks for the news Sally Ann! And congrats to the owners of these horses.
Can you please give us more info on the Prince of Prussia as far as his pedigree goes?

Same question to you Gina. I have no idea how your boy is bred  Huh But like him in the picture from that angle!

If its the same horse I think it is (surely there aren't two Prince of Prussia), then he was bred by Connie Kempter of Rappenhof Trakehners. He is a 1991 Black Stallion by Carino out of Palma Nigra ( by Habicht ex Passarge II). He would also be a full brother to the 1998 stallion, Platinum vom Rappenhof, and the model?? mare Piroschka vom Rappenhof. Smiley

Yes, Prince of Prussia is by Carino, out of Palma Nigra, therefore full brother to Platinum.  He was approved by the Canadian Trakehner Horse Society several years ago and stood at Rappenhof for several years prior to his sale to California.  There is also another full brother named Prinz Habicht (approved by Canadian Trakehner Horse Society) standing in Ontario.

Karim... LeRoi is by Hadrian, out of Loretta (Gero).
