I've got my passport handled and checking flight prices each day. Travel agent suggests to wait till after labor day, then it's ready, set, go.
The excitement is brewing!

I'm so jealous. I'm not even branding my gelding this fall like I had planned thanks to my truck blowing the water pump and radiator. I hate technology sometimes. . . . .

If only I could join you for the pre, work always gets in the way of fun. If all goes as planned it will be one heck of a few days with to much time on and airplane and not enough time in Germany. Just started a new job so I just can't get much time off. That aside I am soooo looking forward to this trip. Will certainly be a new experience, I've been to Germany once many, many years ago but that trip had nothing to do with horses. I'll be easy to spot, look for the person with a confused look on her face

I have a friend who is going. I have a dressage gelding almost sold and if he sells, I would be able to make the trip. It's now just weeks away, but as someone mentioned, there are some good deals on airfare. Would a hotel be impossible to find at this point?
I have four purebred Trakehner mares form Kirov and most of my horses have Trakehner base....it is like a good recipe. If you have themost important ingredient correct, you can make many good things from it!!
