I didn't rebreed this year because of a late foal and some health problems on the mare's part, but she will be bred to Tzigane next spring.

I didn't rebreed this year, but next year I'm planning to breed one of my mares to Leonidas. There are several of his foals in our area and you couldn't ask for nicer babies. One especially has a beautiful neck and wonderful knee action at this early age. Two years down the road when my beautiful 16h 2-year-old is 4, I'm looking at Happy Hour for her.

did not have the best of luck this year. Bred three mares only one is in foal. Got a late start due to problems beyond my control. I have decided to close up shop for this year and start again early next year. That aside the good news I am expecting a Tzigane foal for 2004 and am thrilled!!! I bred him to my Schwalbenzug mare 'Sommer Schwalbe'. Something to look forward to for sure!

I bred my mare to Ichi Ban this year, he recently moved out here to Washington from the East. He is very handsome, and a beautiful mover. He'll be at the annual meeting so you can see him if you are coming. Hoping to see the heartbeat on Friday. I wish I had another mare cuz I really love my Stiletto filly too...here is her latest photo

Due to my Falke mare loosing her foal in October, I have a second breeding to Hennessey with my TB I'm using this year. Not complaining tho, as I really like the filly I got this year.

how cute! (and a very good tactic for getting nervous babies to relax for the first couple pedicures)

I am not rebreeding this year because my mare's foal was rather late, but I am planning on breeding one or two mares next spring. This year's colt was by Elazar and I really like him, but Paramour and Fandango are on my short list of new boys to go see. If either of these boys make it to the LA area or San Diego for a show, please post here so I can come and see them in person.
I am also going to keep a sharp eye on who gets approved this fall. Any FABULOUS prospects out there? I would be very interested in any new Kaspareit colts.

We're taking a year off for a change. We were blessed with three very healthy foals this year; a very special Windfall filly, a Hennessey colt and a Rodioso (Old) filly. Now we're looking at a very impressive group of youngsters that will need our full attention! That translates into breed shows & training! I'll probably regret not taking the Amethyst mare back to Windfall, now that I think of it, but there's next year. I might just have to sleep in the barn a few nights next spring just for the sheer enjoyment of it. I'll wait till May though; no more February kids for us; we're getting too old and rusty!
