I LOVE Trakehners!
|
I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with a mare's pedigree. She is registered 3/4 Trakehner with the NATA. She is by Cerber (Bulat x Chaber) and out of a mare by Rubin (Flaneur). Any information on either stallions would be great! Thanks!

Go to this website and type in Rubin's name and breed Trakehner.
http://www.dmtc.com/pedigree/allbreed/
They have photos and pedigree listed for him.
I don't have anything on the other stallion. Was Chaber Arabian?

Rubin is a descendant of the famous Fetysz ox-line from the main stud in Trakehnen. This Arab founded today's stroingest dressage line of the breed via his son Famulus-Maharadscha-Flaneur-Arogno. Flaneur is the sire of Rubin, and apart from Argonog, this is the second biggest branch is Flaneur's linage.
Rubin sired the chestnut Majoran, himself sire of the 1989 Neumünster Champion stallion Preussengeist, who is an important stallion in Germany and sired a number of outstanding jumpers. His son Blue Boy (4th generation down from Rubin) was just sent to the approvals in Leverkusen in Germany and impressed with amazing jumping style.
