???Do you know anything on a Trakehner named James Blonde?I may be buying him.To help he is a palomino gelding around 15-18 yrs old. Thanks for your help, Ashley

Ashley, congratulations on your soon-to-be new horse. It is very unlikely to run across someone who will know the breeding of a horse which has not been shown or otherwise promoted, unless the breeder happens to read your post.
But, since you have discovered that he does have papers, all you need to do is get a copy of them or ask the owner for the names of the horses listed on them. The papers from any registry will show minimally who the sire and dam are, and will generally show four more generations of the pedigree.

Thanks, I am getting the new horse tomorrow @ 11.00 a.m.I don't know if he has been shown, but he was used at the racetracks for '' ponying'' before races , but my problem is that the person we are buying him from did not get his papers when she bought him.
