I received the following wonderful news form Bernhard & Sabine Langels of Shaeplitz, Germany about their 2 Alter Fritz (Chardonnay-Kokoshka) daughters:
"we proudly present our two mares [by Alter Fritz out of Gloriette III (by Kostolany)] Greta Garbo, 3, you have seen here and her four-year old sister Gracia Patricia both as winners of the central mare approval in Moritzburg! Quite extraordinary that two full-sisters both are winners, so we were nicely surprised and extremely happy. In Schleswig-Holstein( Northern Germany) at the mare approval there was a sister of your Sacre Schwalbe [Sacre Noir (Kostolany) x Manhattan (St. Cloud)] "Starlet" [Sacre Noir x Alter Fritz] we sold to Mr. Schiele also very successful and became "Prämienstute" (Premium Mares). "
