ANOTHER NEW COLT!

We are very pleased (AND GREATLY RELIEVED) to announce that our mare gave birth to an absolutely lovely - and very big/tall & well-developed colt on Friday evening @ 7:55 pm. Our mare is a lovely, JC Thoroughbred mare bred to our very own, Happy Hour. Happy was a most avid, quiet and interested observer during the foaling process - had his nose pressed up against the bars and watching with amazement

. Mom and our new fellow (Perfect Hour) are doing very well ("Barn" name to follow). It's absolutely amazing how such a big fellow made his way through and out to the big world. We were most fortunate that all went very well with minimal intervention. This young fellow discovered his "wheels" yesterday and kept mom very busy as he dashed about freely through the pasture. He's got his mother's color and markings (Bay w/large diamond/snip and one sock), but he's got daddy's face, topline and wonderful disposition.

We also received word that another colt was born by our stallion this morning in Tennessee at 3:15 a.m. - another "huge" baby with lots of legs and super as described by his owner. A very big congrats to Dianne and her new arrival! Grin

A VERY BIG Congratulations to you Renee (and Happy!!)!! I know how excited you have been waiting for this baby. It definitely sounds like he has been well worth the wait!! I would love to see pictures of both this one and the new baby in Tennessee!! Ciekew (with her "HAPPY" baby) is the next due at our farm, and we are very excited!!

Again, Congratulations, and am looking forward to seeing pics!!

Hi Gina: Thanks so much, and we too are very excited about Ciekew's pending arrival (maybe another colt in the making). We will post pics of our fellow, as well as the other kids on the website as soon as we can get the pics together, and I'll try to post a couple before adding them to our site. So far this year, 2-filles, 2-colts (50/50) with more on the way! Wink
