New Filly for Schonfeld « on: May 19, 2003, 12:41:28 PM » I'm so happy to announce that my PSB TB mare, Lookin For Bernie, foaled a beautiful filly by Schonfeld early last Wednesday morning.  She has a blaze and 2 white socks in back, and she's a rich chockolate brown.  I believe she'll eventually turn gray which is OK as I love grays.  I've tried to post this with a picture, but I must be doing something wrong as it never shows up.  If I ever figure it out, I'll post a picture.  This was Bernie's first foal, and my first try as a breeder.  I think I'm hooked. Logged Karim Guest Re:New Filly for Schonfeld « Reply #1 on: May 19, 2003, 03:48:52 PM » Congratulations Helo Again, Not long ago, The Trakehner Hefte had a very interesting article on Schoenfeld's dam "Schönau II" by "Ordensglanz". From what I could read into it, they considered this beautiful dark brown mare as one of the best Trakehner mares of the 70s & 80s eras.
