Ha ha. Darn animals. I missed all the births of my dozen or so goat kids, three foals, and a lamb (but then I didn't know the sheep was pregnant). Some were cutting loose early, others seemed A-OK and then popped between checks. I'm positive it was all on purpose.

Oh, I can certainly identify with the not being able to form a sentence .... after three hours of sleep a night for a week, it's bound to happen - the mind, after a while, doesn't communicate well with the mouth. However, your list isn't complete. It should also read, "Be sure to deliver when the weather's rotten; like 9 degrees during a snow storm, around 3 AM when you KNOW the humans will be miserable & will never make it back to sleep .. hee hee!"

And I almost got fooled--this girl actually looks like she may very well go tonight--and if she's cooperative at all, she'll do so before I have to get on a plane at 0530--ain't this fun?
