Stallion and Mare Inspections for the Midwest
« on: January 31, 2002, 12:33:04 AM »

Anyone interested in a stallion inspection in the Midwest should contact Rolling Oaks Farm in Elgin, IL #847-464-5931 and talk to Nancy.  We are trying to get a stallion inspection together since the ATA meeting is being held in Florida this year and that is a long way to haul horses to be inspected.  Also make sure you send in your forms to the ATA to let them know that you have a stallion or mare to be inspected even if your not sure so they have an idea of the number of horses that need to be inspected.  We are trying to get a mare inspection too,  either at another site of maybe with the stallions.  Thanks

good idea, Glory! I forgot the meeting would be in Florida and
ROF has another colt they want to present.  By the way, Eberhard will be out at Sunset Hills giving lessons on February 16 and February 23. There are six riders on each day. Kenyon may be ridden if Sarah decided to ride him instead of Happy. Jane hurt her knee and won't be able to ride so choice of horse is iffy.  You might want to stop by and watch for a while!

Lisabeth I've been trying to get a hold of you to find out directions for the barn and what time Sarah will be riding.  Can you please email me.  Glory

I sent my nominations in for my TB mare, her Hennessey colt and my Anglo Trak mare.  I am not sure they will all go, hoping to sell one of them!  But Penny from the ATA contacted me to say the same as you've posted, maybe an inspection at Rolling Oaks.  That would be awesome!

Hope all your horses are doing well and maybe we will see you at some shows this year again.  Glory

Thanks Glory!
I am hoping to take my colt to some Hunter Breeding shows, as I think he is more that type.  Do you know of any around here?  I may still go to the USDF stuff for experience, dependign upon what he looks like..  My TB's inutero foal is sold, thank goodness, but I am still looking forward to that one !  I still have my Tannenberg mare for sale, I may breed her, but I am on the fence about that one.  She is older and maiden to my knowledge.  ah well, time will tell... I have a couple breedings to use this year, otherwise I really like Renees stallion for her.  Like i said, time...
