Performance Matters!

Sara and Harry Houdini are officially basing out of Andreas Dibowski's barn in Doehle for the 2012 eventing season. Their goal is to qualify for the 2012 World Championships for 7yo Event Horses @ Lion d'Angers.
Departure date not confirmed but likely less than 45 days as Dibo wants them as soon after 2/15 as possible. Along with Harry, Sara will be competing some of Dibo's other horses & her "tryout" last week was on one of the hopefuls for Lion in the 6yo division, Chanel No. 5 - a lovely Hanoverian mare.
Team Dibo's season gets underway mid-March @ Luhmulen (jumping only) and April marks the first FEI eventing outing. Sara will have helmet camera so as season goes on, will post videos showing what FEI eventing in Germany is like from the rider's point of view!

Sara, just know you're heading to a second "home" country. If you get too lonely or need a change in tapestry, you can always come and hang out with us. Heidelberg is a wonderful place, and if you ever need a break, let us know.
And there will be so many opportunities to party with the crazy Majenfelde crew of course

Woohoo! Beyond excited for you all!
Can't wait to make the trip over and watch them dominate that Championship course
Watching the video it's pretty amazing to see the changes in terrain. What an up and down course, it's going to require a huge amount of stamina, thankfully the small but fierce Harry Hou is a Trakehner!!

Got on the plane with Harry!=D so, out of country on the 9th, need to head to LA around the 6th. Coming right up!
It's becoming real - 3wks from today Sara and the Hou w/b heading to Germany.

Thanks Jennifer. This has been a real coordination effort for Sara. The flight for her & Harry was the easy part, the tricky part's finding an affordable way to ship most of her gear (unlike when she went to Burghley, the airline now only allows 1 trunk to ship with then). Think she's finally cobbled it together by using a freight shipper for some and the rest (studs, brushes, etc) she'll purchase in Germany.
Just 2 more weeks!
