She's jet lagged LOL.
Andrew is taking others but not sure if he is taking any of the other boys or some of the mares/gelding.

Is Patras VR Patras Vom Rappenhof? Didn't recognize with the VR (yes, I'm a blonde... lol). Also didn't register since he is inactive and I think has been for a couple of years? So not sure if he was gelded or not.

To add to your list Kim... Rousselet is going in TH with Dean Graham. And another approved stallion - Indelible is going for his approvals in NH with his owner Barry Joslin.
And Tate is doing OT so that we can show on Fri/Sat instead of Sat/Sun
Hopefully everyone does well up at Poplar this weekend! And I think Xena is doing a schooling event at Longwood tomorrow? Good luck to all!

Open Intermediate-A Zauberruf and Darren Chiacchia - 19th of 19. An unlucky early draw saw judges scoring conservatively and the pair stood an uncharacteristic 17th after dressage on a 39.60 Two raills in SJ dropping to current 19th on a 57.60.
Open Intermediate - C Dibelius and Darren Chiacchia - 19th of 20 after dressage on a 41.20. Despite 2 rails in stadium, they maintain their place on a current 49.20. Masterpiece 54 and Liz Milliken - 13t of 20. Tied for 12th after dressage on a 36.40, one rail in SJ has them now tied for 13th on a 40.40.
Open Preliminary Fantastik and Darren Chiacchia
Preliminary Horse - A Shame on the Moon and Amanda Wilson - 2t of 11 on a 30.0 after dressage.
Open Training - A Kompass NSF and Jonathan Holling Tatendrang and Andrew Palmer
Open Training - B Ballzauber and Darren Chiacchia Sayyida and Kyle Carter
Training Horse - B Patras VR and Jessica Phoenix Rousselet and Dean Graham
Novice Horse - A Henry Knox and Ashley Dalton Indelible and Barry Joslin
Novice Horse - B Flannigan and Erin Root Hadley and Ashley Dalton
Novice Rider - A Hilife and Michael Lindsey
Several horse/rider combinations moved between divisions and class size split several groups.
The early riders got penalized by judges wanting to "leave room" for potential better scores. Luck of the draw that both Darren's OI horses had early ride times. Tough starting point and SJ did them no favors but it can all change xc.
Amanda Wilson & Shame on the Moon has a lovely start to their day. Fingers crossed for double clears and to finish on this good dressage score.
Lower levels begin their day after noon - lots of TK's going so let's hope judges have gotten their "grumpies" out and award our lovely horses accordingly. Go Trakehners!

Luck of the draw that both Darren's OI horses had early ride times. Tough starting point and SJ did them no favors but it can all change on xc - esp @ this level where time often is a factor.
Amanda Wilson & Shame on the Moon are in sync! A very good dressage score was followed by a perfect stadium - lifting the pair to current 1st.
Tatendrang had a super start - if his sj and xc are equally good, suspect Andrew w/b moving him up to Prelim soon. Congrats Anissa!
Darren's OP horse Fantastik looks to be back in good form. A solid dressage followed by a double-clear stadium .
The Training Horse, ON, NH and NR divsions kick off tomorrow. Go Trakehners!

Open Intermediate-C - Final Dibelius and Darren Chiacchia - 16th of 20. Nineteenth after dressage on a 41.20. Two rails in stadium, a stop plus 28.0 time penalties xc still moves them up 3 places on a very challenging (only 2 w/no xc time penalties) course to final 16th on a score of 97.20. Masterpiece 54 and Liz Milliken - 12th of 20. Tied for 12th after dressage on a 36.40, one rail in SJ dropped them 1 position but a clean xc with 22.80 time penalties moved the pair back up to a final 12th on a final score of 63.20.
Open Preliminary-A - Final Fantastik and Darren Chiacchia - 13th of 23. Tied for 11th on a 32.70 after dressge the pair put in a faultless sj round to move up 3 spots to 8th. A clean xc w/time penalties moved them down to final 13th on a 47.90.
Preliminary Horse-A - Final Shame on the Moon and Amanda Wilson - 1st of 11. Second(t) on a 30.0 after dressage, the pair jumped clean in both sj and xc - adding just 2.0 time penalties in each phase to win the division on a final score of 34.0.

Kim jixed us! LOL (kidding)
Tate's dressage test on Friday was heaven - Susan Woods is a TOUGH judge (who has never given an 8 to Andrew before - but he got 4 ofthem on Friday), as well as an 8 for gaits in his collective marks. she is notorious for giving mostly 6's... so a 30.5 from her was REALLY good.
He was double clear on stadium and went IMMED to x-country (SJ was essentially warm up - he had 20 mins to his start time for x-country once he left the SJ ring and 10 of that was spent hacking out to the start box). Andrew said he was forward, relaxed, in front of his leg and he was thinking that Preliem is next up for him, then fence 8 came up and Tate had none of it. Couldn't figure it out - the jump was the one prior to the water, but that hasn't been an issue for him in the past, it was open/airy and he could see under it, but again, it was a jump he's done a million times before... who knows? He seems fine, but you are right, it is very odd for him - he rarely refuses any fence, and never more than once. But this is life with a horse right?
Andrew is sticking around till after the event so he can go back out and school that fence/combo.
All in all though it was a good time this weekend. It was fun to hang out with everyone and we had a blast.

Seriously sorry about the jinx Anissa! I always say the same thing (it's like when announcers say - this guy NEVER misses - famous last words), so will keep a lid on comments til all phases done in the future!
I think Darren had a really good out on Fantastik who's been off for a year; clear sj and xc with time penalties (IMO) appropriate for a horse just coming back. A good clean outing is what's called for - time will come as condition is restored. On a personal note, this is my favorite Darren horse b/c he's a "nephew" of Hennie *M* (out of her 1/2 sister, the 1998 National Champion Trakehner mare, PrSt Helia).
Ballzauber was a victim of scheduling. Darren was late to his stadium (not where he was TE'd - I misreported), but got to jump. However, by the time he made it to xc the judges had already moved on to the Preliminary fences, so he didn't get to run & instead got TE'd.
Zauberruf had a similar day to Tate's. For some reason he just didn't want to play on xc. There will be other days.
Patras VR may be one to watch for the future. His division's still jumping but he put in a good dressage test, a faultless stadium & they've just posted he went double clear xc.
Tate had one of those days; it happens. Andrew's doing the right thing staying to school. Vital to leave w/a good experience over an obstacle that caused trouble.
The Novice group is having a super outing. Good dressage and between Flannigan, Hadley and Henry Knox not a single rail fell in stadium! Indelible had 1 rail down, but this guy's a Hunter now . . . we do things a bit different in eventing SJ! LOL
Xena had a super outing. Unfortunately she drew a judge that has issues w/Kyle Carter. KC got a 4 as a rider (Olympian); same for Xena on gaits (in 2yrs & maybe 10 different judges she's never scored lower than 7 or 8 on gaits) so score did not reflect the test, horse or rider. BTW, Kyle got a 31.4 & 26.4 on his Prelim horses from Susan Woods so either he forgot how to ride, or this was one of those issues w/a judge you experience @ one time or another. There was nothing Xena could do about that but she put in lovely double clear rounds in stadium then jogged straight off to xc (Anissa's right, they had 20min between SJ and XC start times and 1/2 of that spent jogging to the start box) and put in a strong double clear round there, too. Kyle was super-happy with her. Maybe 1 more outing @ Training then on to Prelim.

Totally kidding Kim!!!!! Don't think you seriously jinxed us. heck I took some champagne so maybe I did lol.
It was perfect weather for eventing yesterday. I must say watching Indelible's dressage yesterday he looks really good - esp for a hunter rider. . His rider / owner is out of his normal element but is doing a pretty good job.

Some more final scores.
Open Intermediate-A - Final Zauberruf and Darren Chiacchia - Retired. Seventeenth after dressage on a 49.60 the pair had 2 raills in SJ dropping them to 19th on a 57.60. Three stops xc and Darren decided to pull up and play another day.
Open Training-A - Final Kompass NSF and Jonathan Holling - 15th. 21st of 23 on a 39.10 after dressage the pair went double clear sj and xc to finish on this score & move up 6 positions. Tatendrang and Andrew Palmer - Eliminated. Third of 23 on a 30.5 after dressage they had a double clear stadium round but 3 stops xc.
Open Training-B - Final Ballzauber and Darren Chiacchia - TE. 13th of 17 on a 36.40 after dressage, went double clean in stadium but missed their xc time and got TE'd. Sayyida and Kyle Carter - 12th of 17. Sixteenth after dressage on a 41.40 they put in double clears in stadium and xc to move up 4 positions.
Training Horse-B - Final Patras VR and Jessica Phoenix - 4th of 12. Fourth (t) after dressage on a 32.70, they go double clear in stadium and xc to maintain score/position. Rousselet and Dean Graham - 11th of 12. Twelfth after dressage on a 41.80, a double clear stadium round moves them up 1 place to current 11th. Despite a stop xc and resulting time penalties they maintain 11th on a final score of 68.20.
Novice Horse-A - Final Henry Knox and Ashley Dalton - 4th of 19. Tied for 4th on a 29.60 after dressage, a faultless sj broke tie to give them sole possession of 4th. A clean and fast (too fast - incurred 2.0 time penalties for excessive speed as the were over :30 under optimum time) xc round solidified the placing. Indelible and Barry Joslin - TE. Eighth on a 33.0 after dressage the pair added 1 rail plus 2tp's in stadium, moving then down to 14th on a 39.0. Four stops (see note) on xc. Anissa alerted me to the fact & Kari Cassel (who was there) confirmed the only stop (perhaps 2 stops @ same question - they were unsure)was at the water. Unfotunately, Barry took the Training fence out of the water (thanks again Anissa) which necessitated a Technical Elimination. The four stops will be appealed. Novice Horse-B - Final Flannigan and Erin Root - 18th of 20 After dressage the pair stood 13th on a 34.80. They went double clear in stadium but had 2 stops xc to finish 18th on a score of 74.80. Just spoke to Kari - the 2nd stop was appealed. The horse stopped but did not step back - vital distinction - at a jump he was uncertain of. After a few seconds he jumped. Judge scored it a stop saying he hesitated "five seconds". Kari has it on video which disputes this but nevertheless, show management overruled their dispute. Hadley and Ashley Dalton - 3rd of 20 on a 30.0 after dressage the pair have a faultless sj and a double clear xc to finish on their dressage score & final 3rd.
Novice Rider-A - Final Hilife and Michael Lindsey - W. Twelfth after dressage on a 49.10, two rails in stadium drop them a position to current 13th on a 57.10. Withdrew before xc.

Actually Indelible jumped into the water at the Training level spot and jumped out over the Training jump. He did go on and complete the rest of the Novice course and then was told he had been eliminated.

Don't know. He may have had stops along the way too and would they have counted the 2 trng jumps as faults? Since he tech didn't jump the novice jumps? But he had the TE for being the overachiever at the water. They didn't pull him from the course until he crossed the finish line.
