Shepherd Ranch SYVPC H.T. I
Open Training Hunter's Bolero and Michlynn Sterling
Beginner Novice Rider JR/YR-B Amarna and Lulu Shamberg
I know that Amarna was recently sold to someone on the West coast, so I'm assuming this is the same mare we've read about here all year. I hope the new owner/rider really enjoy their new horse! I also hope they have the talent and aspirations to compete at the UL's(perhaps at NAJYRC) in the future so Amarna doesn't see her ability wasted. Just as a reminder, this mare was winning earlier this season in Florida at Preliminary, with talent for more.
Best of luck to all this weekend!

Open Training 12th of 20 Hunter's Bolero and Michlynn Sterling with a 28.2 after dressage, they dropped back from first with one stop and a few time penalties on XC. A double clear SJ round moved them back up a place after XC.
Beginner Novice Rider JR/YR-B 5th of 11 Amarna and Lulu Shamberg with a 33.3 after dressage. They had a double clear XC round, and were double clear in SJ!
Amarna and Lulu were tied for 4th all weekend, but dropped to 5th on the tie breaker, they were just slightly further off of the optimum time. Great job done by this pair! Hunter's Bolero had a very nice dressage test and SJ round, unfortunately they had an unfortunate stop on XC to take them out of the top 3. They'll get them next time!
