We are breeding our new mare Isadora by Avignon II out of Inflana by Flanuer to the newly approved stallion Tzgaine by Graditz out of Thisbe by Condus and we are breeding Linnea by Graditz out of Lovedream by Donauwind to Incantare by Enrico Caruso.  We also bought a very nice Arabian mare with polish and spanish bloodlines to try a test breeding to our stallion Mancini by Kaspareit.  He will be going for ATA approvals this year.  Who is everyone else breeding to?

Hi Glory,

You are a trendsetter picking the new guys! Grin

We have three girls going to Kaspareit for repeat breedings based on previous foals.  A possible fourth, our 3 YO Kasp daughter, Tanzelfe (out of Tariana by Graditz-Avignon-Ricardo), is still up in the air...

I was thinking about breeding our TB mare to Kasp,  I'm just not sure if I want to breed her or give her this year off.  I would like to breed to him at least one more time.

Well Glory, Kasp isn't getting any younger- do it now! And though it will be hard work, it will be nice to have a whole group of youngsters to grow up and play with. I feel so sorry for the babies that have come through the barn we're at- they never got to play with youngsters their own age.

Kasp is 25 this year.  Though Gay is always prepared for the worst, he has always come through breeding season strong, but you never know when that will end.

I think you will really like your Linnea baby!  Our Graditz-Avignon mare will be bred for her third K-baby after making two fillies very similar in appearance.  They are beautiful and top notch movers with backs unlike any I have seen, and they are just brilliant!  I believe Linnea is only the second Graditz girl to go to Kasp and it is an inspired cross!

Good choice with Tzigane, Glory, I liked him in St. Louis!

We're breeding out state premium mare Baroness by Anduc-Etong to Michelangelo, our new Tropic Leaf by Elan xx-Ferrum is either going to Banditentraum or Don Schufro (Oldenburg Donnerhall-Pik Bube-Unkenruf/Trak, I have a breeding left over), my TB Cinderella is probably going to Windfall and Ivi by Intervall xx-Arthus is bred to Elan xx. And we're waiting for a Latimer foal out of Tropic Flower by Elan xx-Mahagoni and a Finley M out of Ivi. The Latimer is due in two weeks, I'm really watching it now!!

Happy foaling to you all!

HI Maren,

Hope your going to post pics of your foals,  they sound wonderful.  Can  I send you a pic of my colt by Kaspareit we are presenting this year?  I would love to see what you think of him.

I am breeding my Matador mare, Himmlische, to the Arabian stallion Aul Magic.  I'm also rebreeding my mare Sidney, an anglo-Trakehner by Schubert to Paramoure.  I'm undecided on Kalliste (by Amadeus)... it depends on how her Heling foal turns out!   Grin I can't wait for the rest of the foals to get here this year!

Hi Glory,
sure, go ahead and send the pics of your colt. I'm a fan of Kasp anyway, like to see his kids. And where are you presenting, west coast? I'll be in Florida for the Annual Meeting this year, any chances to see him there?
