I LOVE Trakehners!

They don't have an organized auction at the Spring Approvals like they do in Neumunster with all the hoopla that surrounds it. The selling of the sale horses that are indicated for sale in the program take place in the barns between the interested parties.

That's not my experience, auction wise. Yes, there is a lot of back lot chatting, but the auction is simply smaller. It's a lot of fun, in fact more so than NMS because you can concentrate on many fewer horses and see some amazing stock that was perhaps a little too young for NMS, older, or simply not ready in October. I saw Alaskatraum at the spring approvals, among others, who are amazing. Don't count these guys out!
