How does this work ? Say you were the high bidder on FleetH2O Opposition:
-do you get just one dose of frozen or more if needed ?
-do you get it and use it whenever or does it get sent when the mare is ready to be inseminated ?
-any other costs associated with this, other than shipment ?

Elfe - it will all depend on the contract (esp on the boys that are deceased and are only avail frozen). The contracts etc will be up on line soon (next month or so - Kim will know better). This is just to whet your appetite so to speak. 
It is so tempting with this line up - y'all just don't know.
I LOVE the head shot of Veneziano - just lovely.

Doses of frozen vary by stallion. While a maximum of 4 doses is possible; deceased stallions may have fewer doses/bid. Once the ATA office receives payment from winning bidder, they notify the stallion owner/agent who then coordinates with the mare owner on when/where to ship the semen.
On every stallion's individual bid page you'll find descriptions, additional photos, videos and breeding contracts detailing all additional cost questions (container deposits, etc.) you pose here Elfe. Please carefully check details of each stallion's contract prior to bidding. If any questions remain, contact the stallion owner/agent so you completely understand all contract terms before bidding .
The 2011 ATA SSA opens Saturday, January 15th and closes Monday, February 14, 2011.
