Under Taz's longtime trainer/rider, Helmut Schrant, Herzmond (Tzigane *Pb* x Hennie *M*) won the High Training (3'6") class @ the A-rated Ledges Summertime.

Thanks, Bonnie!  As our first home-bred, Manny has a special place in my heart.   Kiss

For some time he's been overshadowed by little brother, Harry Houdini.  We start all of ours in eventing (where Harry's a natural) and though Manny was never comfortable xc, he was clean and fast in stadium, so hopefully he's found his niche.

Thanks Sean.  Helmut moved him up again and they showed in Schooling Jumpers (3' 9") yesterday.  He said despite being very tired Manny jumped extremely well and placed 5th. 

So after 6wks with Helmut, he's shown twice: in his first show (last week) he did the 3'3" Jumpers and finished 9th and 10th.  This week, he did the 3'6" and 3'9" Jumpers and placed 1st and 5th.  Helmut's very excited about him and plans to focus on Manny's strength training for the next 3wks then take him to the Showplace Fall Classic mid August.

I'm now thinking about bringing him to JAX for the Jumper stakes!!

Yes, he is a gelding (but Hennie's 'cooking' his full brother or sister ' - so perhaps a future stallion is on the way).
