Thanks Sean.  Spoke to Sara @ length today and she said several young girls came by the barn after xc b/c they thought Harry was so beautiful.  A couple brought their parents who inquired about his bloodlines.  All were surprised he was TK (they thought big-boned TB!). 

Score one more for TK's!  These girls will be looking to move up on better mounts as they progress . . . maybe one will remember and come shopping for Trakehners!

Congratulations ! You should be extremely proud !
But..... how about filling in some blanks ?
Last I knew Harry was in Texas and Sara was eventing his brother Herzmond.
Inquiring minds want to know !!!!!

Good memory, Elfe! 

Yes, Harry was in TX with Kristen Wertz all last year.  Kristen gave him an invaluable foundation b/c now he just thinks eventing's fun.  However, he's progressed so fast that he'll be ready to do Prelim in another 2months and Kristen no longer rides @ that level - enter Sara who's been to Rolex 4x as well as Badmitton. 

Sara leased Herzmond (Manny) last year after riding him and discovering he has a tremendous jump.  However cross country's not his thing - he hates cantering away alone while his 'buddies' are still in the warmup area - and never got over his distrust of water. While he went around for her - finishing 6th @ Galway in April - he was never truly "with Sara" on course.  Unlike his brother who can't wait to get at the xc questions (and is sometimes too keen).

Manny's now with Helmut (who trained/rode Taz) preparing to pick up where daddy left off (well, not quite - he'll be starting out @ Low Training Jumpers 3'3") this summer.
