Took a couple of photos yesterday in between thunderstorms of a few of the horses....
First one is Pearl Jam (Patty) - by Emerald Impressions out of Pennant's Valentine:

Next is the pony filly: At Last By Emerald Impressions out of my grade small pony jumper, Angel (this is the one that was injured at 2 months old).

Last but not least: Sera Venezanio By Veneziano out of Sweet Chloe (my Carino mare that I lost when this filly was 2 1/2 months old - this is the first photo I've taken of her since she was a weanling).

All 3 are lovely - esp. for 2yo pix (I'm hiding mine 'til he's 3). You should be proud!

Thank you both. All three are big, sweet girls. Sera is my special girl in that group though. She is 2 going on 20 and while she is the youngest, she is the leader.
The photos of my colt are not as flattering so I'm not that brave Kim!

As of Monday, Patty was 15.3 3/4 (born in March 2008), Sera was 15.3 hh (born in April 2008), and Allie was 13.2 hh (born March 2008). I am betting that Sera will be around 16.1 or so, Patty 16.2 or so and Allie will be around 14.0 hh.

I'll add one of the pictures I took of Ruby today since she technically can count as one of your 2008 babies
Dorothy's Ruby Slippers (Ruby) by Tanzeln out of Devotion
Love the rest of your 2008 babies as well

I think they look great. I wonder why people think that horses are fugly at this stage. It is like high school pictures for people, not ugly just coming into themselves. I like my yearling, he surprises me every week with a new look. Apparently his body parts are not conferring with each other about growth, their just doing their own thing. I am totally enjoying the show.

Kathryn - that is my favorite photo of Miss Thang, Ruby. She is really doing well and looks fantastic!! I love it when the right person for the right horse gets him/her!!!!
Stoicfish - I think there are some horses that grow into themselves better than others. My yearling is in a REALLY unfortunate stage of growing right now, and my 2 yo colt isn't much better (the neck fairy left the building for a bit I think). When they start getting to look like they were put together by a drunk committee, it is time to hide them for a bit LOL.

New photos of 2 of the 2 year olds from yesterday.... Poor Nick, he is the most gangly of all my 2 year olds and the only one of Cory's to actually go through "bad" stages. sigh
Emerald Tsar - by Oskar II *Pg* out of Encore at 26 months (one week shy of 26 months).

And my pretty girl: Pearl Jam by Emerald Impressions out of Pennant's Valentine at 28 months:

(and just for fun... this girl is athletic lol)

Beautiful face on Patty, and she does look athletic. Will be fun to see what discipline she 'chooses'.

Thank you both. I am pretty happy with them all - but I have to admit that Patty holds a bit of a special place in my heart as she is one of Preston's. He outdid himself on both Patty and Allie imo.
Kim - I honestly think that Patty will make a kick ass eventer in the future. She has the movement that she could do dressage but she is like her sire in that she is so bold and forward that I think she would be killer around a x-country course. We shall see what the future holds.

Thanks Kim! I really do like the mare (beyond the fact of who her sire is LOL) and Val always has such pretty babies.... Patty is the 3/4 sister to the filly I had this year out of Val. Patty is a good girl.
Another photo of her from Sun:
