Just wanted to share my latest trick. Maybe some of you have heard of this but I am treating a minor absess in one of my horses right now. New vet here in TN said, just put the medication on a diaper, diaper wraps around hoof, add vet wrap and duct tape and bandage lasts for days!!! It works great and keeps area dry and free of debris!! Easy, easy, easy.

If you need it to last an extra few days, you can also, re-apply some additional duct tape to the bottom and edges. This is one of the easiest wraps to do! Also works well on heel bulb injuries. ;-)
Good luck with the abscess.
