Harry Houdini Schooling Training Level XC!

The last time one of my horses schooled the Training course @ Greenwood, it was Harry's dad!

You'd never know this was Harry's first time to school a Training xc course - or that he  turns 5 this Thursday!  We had him "chase" an experienced T level horse just in case, but he was matter-of-fact about everything, going around the entire course as if he'd done it before.

Way to go Scary!!

He doesn't look particularly concerned, does he, especially not in the water? That brush fence was quite large too!

Oh he's a water horse, no question.  Kristen (rider) works full-time, so often it's dark when she schools him.  Her place is a former tree farm & holds water extremely well.  With so much rain this winter/spring she often rode bareback in the dark, zigging and zagging thru trees with her feet pulled up like a jockey b/c the water was splashing his belly. 

Harry never knew it was prepping him for a career that would require "water work" . . . he just thought it was great fun!   Smiley
