Anybody got any more information on him apart from what pops up on the Verband site, his own site and paardenfokken?

Has he done anything in the competition arena?

Does anyone carry his semen in the US?

Okey Dokey then. I guess that's a no.

Could you then, please look at this pedigree, and tell me if I am way off base with this linebreeding?

What line breeding are you planning on?

never mind! I just figured it out.  I can't speak to how well the line breeding will work, but it's far enough back that it should minimize any potential problems.  The question really is, has anyone else done this linebreeding, and what have been the results?

Moot point as Checkpoint is not available in the US.

I have seen this type of linebreeding done. I now can't find my links to stallions that reflected a double dam line. Roll Eyes

One of the great things about the www is that you can get to see all sorts of stallions that you never would have known about. At the same time it's also disappointing that you can't use them anyway!

But then you find things like this:

Neumunster 2006

The other top seller was the exceptional black premium mare Corne, again by Buddenbrock, whose price was worth every penny of its 55,000 Euro. The marte's dam is legendary Grand Prix winner Corna, a direct daughter of the dam of EH Consul. And Corne carried a precious load: she is in foal to the 2005 Bundeschampion Kaiserdom TSF.

which opens up all sorts of possibilities for the future and my stallion short list Smiley

With frozen semen, there are few stallions that are not available if you really want them.
