I LOVE Trakehners!

Our only 2010 foal arrived just before midnight on Sunday evening.
We have a very nice colt with white on three of four legs, a star and unconnected narrow stripe. Now all we need is for the weather to warm up in Saskatchewan, Canada. It is forecast to go to minus 25 C tonight.
The dam is Pr.ST Thalabana (E.H. Buddenbrock-Humanus).

Congratulations Judy! I spent quite a bit of time w/your new boy's sire 2wks ago in Germany. Has the baby demonstrated his sire's famous "straw hat" trick?!

Sorry, he doesn't do that trick. The most interesting thing he does is is to draw his neck and head up from his shoulders and hold the pose for about 5-10 seconds. sorry I have a few pictures in the camera but that is as far as they have gotten. It is very cold and I am just trying to keep the little darling warm at the moment. But then he is less then 24 hour old.

You know... I keep looking everyday for photos of the little darling, and they still aren't up...  LOL.
congrats on the youngster!!! Can't wait to see photos of him, and Kim, that story CRACKS ME UP!!!!! I can SO see some of my crew doing stuff like that. LMAO.
