Performance Matters!

Thanks to all stallion owners who donated services, an indespensible group of "cat herders" (Anissa Cottongim, Heather Buttrum, Kumi Smedley and Marcia Johnson), all the mare owners who bid so enthusiastically and Kari Cassel, who's SSA template is nothing short of genius!
This year's SSA made almost $24,000 - second highest ttl in history. Exceeded (and not by much) only by the '08 SSA which featured 53 stallions (vs. 43 this yr) including such heavyweights as Leonidas, Peron, Special Memories and Windfall. Considering roughly 1/2 as much was spent promoting this year's SSA as in '08, the 2010 SSA s/b the most profitable in history. Moreover, the ATA's SSA revenue is #1 against all other breed organization's SSA revenue.
A better result, you cannot ask for. Thanks to a super team and especially Kari Cassel, who's SSA template is the standard by which all others are judged (and fall short).

 I did a rough count near the end of the SSA - glad to see it did go as well as I thought it had.
The fact that the ATA/SSA did so well this year I think (IMHO) shows an optimism in the economy and the world at large.
I second Kim's thanks to the stallion owners and everyone that made this such a success!!!

I actually just assumed that we had paypal set up for the bids... the office is set up to handle it for other things (registration etc). There may just not be a listing on the site that we take it? (I mean on the SSA site). I haven't gone all the way through the registration process so I might be wrong ...
Yes, Kim, I noted not just the $$ that were made but also looked to see who had bids - very very impressive! It was a good line up for sure.
I will say Kari is awesome too about updating things as they happen too and keeping everything as up to date/accurate as well as easy to navigate! Huge kudos to her! And a big pat on the back to Kim for organizing this huge task!!!
