Just for a lighter topic (I'm kind of giddy right now that we actually had snow here! LOL). Photos of Emma and Preston in the snow that we had here today.
Nothing really stuck (those on FB can see the photos I took of the "accumulation" and some of the other photos) but thought I would share these very quick pics I took.
BTW - I KNOW that this is nothing like what the NE just had and I know that up north y'all get this stuff all the time, but in FL it happens hardly ever (even flurries) - the last time that we had snow was in 1988/1989 so this is an EVENT for us! LOL
And a photo that a friend took (I so stole this photo from him LOL) just 15 mins north of my farm on the FL/AL state line:

It is over now I think.. but it was fun while it lasted. The horses that were outside were not thrilled with it and the inside ones had bug eyes. LOL. When I took Emma out she just about died the first time that "one of those white monsters" hit her face. The puppy (a year old mutt that I have) kept sitting down and staring at the sky trying to figure out what it was... LOL.
I heard on FB that the only state in the nation that didn't get snow was Hawaii today.

LOL that is my kind of weather Sally - now if you could just do away with the earthquakes, mudslides and fires every year I'd move there! (I prefer the natural disasters that you know are coming like hurricanes LOL).
Today the high is in the upper 40's, will be 22 tonight, then warming. By next weekend we will have hit near 70 again but then will drop immed to below freezing temps once again this year. Can't imagine why everyone around here is getting sick so much this year with the ups and downs in the temps..... sigh
