Just found out Hailo was euthanized due to complications from colic yesterday. My deepest sympathies to Jean and everyone else connected to this wonderful horse.

Kim - I am right there with you.  He was not just a great performer himself, he also was a great producer...  I have loved this line for so long for so many reasons and he has a strong presence in my breeding program.  I've been looking at photos that Erin has been posting on her FaceBook page and keep welling up.  I can't even imagine what Jean and the others at Valahalla are going through.  Jean told me tonight that she feels like it is the end of an era. 

I went out and hugged all of my Hailo grandbabies, great grandbabies and great great grandbabies...
