First foal! Pirouette foaled last night!

My 8yr old dark bay mare Pirouette's Pasha(by Hilton GS out of Pirouette*E) foaled on her own in the middle of the night last night!  The colt is a big boy, his father is Darren's young eventing star Zauberruf.

He's my first foal, Pirouette's first, and Z's first!  He's in Ocala luckily, but it's freezing here right now so he's got a little foal blanket Smiley

I'm going to try and upload pictures, might have to wait a few days...he's adorable and I'm just crazy about the little guy!  He's dark brown or possibly black...he's very fuzzy and he's got a star and a little white on his right hind.

Congratulations Sean!!!  Can't wait to see pictures - and I guess your mare read the weather and heard that this weekend was going to be colder so she'd better foal before hand LOL!

(and when he says freezing folks it  really IS at freezing temps and below all over FL)

Hey Ingrid - guess you need to do a 2010 foal section already!!!!!  How exciting! Grin
