Has anyone ridden with Michelle Gibson? I have a lesson scheduled with her on Monday and would love any input.

HI there,
It is not a clinic - private lesson, which is good - nervous enough without a croud!
I am riding my favorite gal - Fairwell, she is by Ravel out of my Rockefeller mare.
I will post how it goes.

I think my instructor has at least audited a clinic or two with Michelle Gibson, but she didn't say a whole lot about it.
We were both VERY bummed to learn that Ulla Salzgeber (sp?) is going to be in Indy for a clinic (2 hours from me) and it is closed to auditors.  She heard it's $600 a pop to ride!!!!! Ouch. I've paid less than that for decent horses . . . .

I had my lesson today with Michelle Gibson. I am BEAMING! My mare, who typically does not like indoors, did fantastick!
They are still finishing the indoor and had a guy on a lift going up and down in the ring with a blow torch - my girl never was bothered - wacky trakehners!
Michelle was awesome! I felt immediatly comfortable. She helped me focus more on the connection and throughness - she never lets up on it - ask for more and more...my mare gave me more and more. We got the trot nice and through and then we cantered like never before! I was on top of the world!

I was a working student for Michelle back in 1999-2000. She is a very positive and motivated woman! Once we finish building our new barn, I am hoping to have her come to Wisconsin for clinics!
