Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the last time the Holsteiner Verband approved a Trakehner stallion it was Donauwind and that was over 4 0 years ago !

I read that somewhere else - well that it was 40 years or more, not which horse it was.  Fantastic news for both KD Trakehners as well as the Trakehner horse in general!

I thought the Holsteiner Verband didn't accept TK's any more!  This is great news.

The ATA magazine had a story recently about the purchase of this stallion. I can't put my hands on it right now but I think Brad Kerbs was the agent in the negotiations.
