The video is not great. The camera did not focus and the lighting in the round pen is low. "Fritz" had no martingale on, so I did not want to mess with his head. Bridle w/a rubber snaffle and his first time with a dressage saddle on. I had to have the saddle pad w/the antlers on! I can not believe what a "sane" boy he is. Little did I know that some "leg" would be needed. Bruce & Staci would not believe this
I had to include the rest of the farm. Maddalena (Tanzlen/Mixta) and Meintanzer (Feuertanzer/Mariahs Wing xx) outside after the first hard frost. (about a month ago) Barking dogs will not enter the field w/electric invisible fencing
WAKE UP FRITZ!! You two "fit" together very well - a good size for you (bet your happy not to need the stepladder you must use for Meintanzer!!)
Do you think Lena will stay bay? Fritz was already obviously greying as a long yearling (of course w/Mixta and Taz's dam both grey odds were stacked heavily in favor of him following suit).
I think Fritz was actually being "safe" with me. He was waiting for me to get used to him. Going right I made him correct himself as he was going to take the wrong lead before taking the canter. I must say it was my first time riding in a round pen. I had to make myself not look at the walls as you could get a little dizzy
Lena has a hand full of gray hairs on her. Some days I cannot find them. I think she will stay bay. She has Daddy's mane and tail for sure! Along with the temperament and the "kisses" Lena is not running because the dogs are barking (that is a everyday thing) She is waiting for Monty (Meintanzer) to come down the hill. He is not allowed when the hill is slippery. He was not born with the coordination of Fritz and Lena, but for as large as he is can be "light" on those size 5 hooves
