She is by Sixtus out of Rheinsonne by Itaxerxes. She is a black beauty with super movements. She is expecting a foal from Gribaldi in april so that's coming close. Re:Mares: R-line « Reply #2 on: February 02, 2003, 04:37:37 PM » Congratulation Heidi - and a Sixtus - daughter,how exciting.Her dam should be member of the family of Regatta by Pregel,a family branch of the big original family of Rieta by Draufgänger.Rieta,out of a family with some proven arabian genes,made the trek with her breeder Mack-Althof,who kept a stud on high quality standard;mostly mares with arabian bloodlines.More foundation mares of his stud:Feodora(Falke,Fabian,Fabius),Mascotte (Magnet),Maßliebchen(Mohammed,Mahon),Traumbild(Traumdeuter,Tanzmeister I and II).Rieta was foundation mare in the Trakehner Verband's stud Hunnesrück;her daughter Regina by Altan was responsible for the big influence this family has today.Regatta,her grandddaughter,was one of the foundation mares of the stud Bönninghardt,the breeders - I think - of your new mare.There is long list of Statepremium and premium mares in her dam's family:mother Rheinsonne,2nd dam Rheinaue by Mozart- who as far as I remember was one the best mares of the whole breed in those years - then Rheinperle by Patron and she is already Regatta's daughter.Rheinsonne is the dam of the Rheinnau by Partout,premium in 1999.Stallions out of this family:Rubin by Flaneur,Ressort by Consul (reservechampion of the grading),Reflex by Matador,Raubritter by Ibikus.Good luck,Heidi. Her mother Rheinsonne is for sale also and even her Couleur-Fürst daughter. I saw an advertisement and was there to watch those..... but fell completely in love to the Sixtus mare. I will present her this year in Rheinland with her foal.
