The Trakehner Verband announced KOSTOLANY (Enrico Caruso *Ps*E* - Falke) is their 2009 Stallion of the Year. I can't wait to see this grand old man in the spotlight @ NMS and am anxious to see how many of his sons and grandkids will make appearances (how cool would it be to see Gribaldi, Totilas, Silvermoon, Matinee and Painted Black?!?)

Am SO happy I'll be there to see this HOY presented. Kiss

If you go to the Trakehner International web site (under Twin Gates address) there is a "New Elite Stallions" article that explains the criteria. I think (don't know for sure) that the EH is a European destination.

I read that - but doesn't Kostolany qualify on both his offspring success and his own competition career?
