Hey everyone,
Who's planning on going to the ATA Annual Meeting in Murfreesboro?
I'm coordinating the Mare Show and I'm also bringing my guy to show in the Hunter Stake.
If anyone is planning on attending the Mare Show, I could use a scribe and 2 paddock masters. The Mare Show starts at 8am on Thursday.

Finally got a game plan figured out so can answer you, M.
Tzigane *Pb* is coming for the Jumper stakes
Sayyida (Sean's 2006 filly out of Pr St Schoene Symphonie) will be there for mare show & inspection.
Looking @ the website, lots of stallions scheduled for the exhibition - don't know last time we had so many, which is super for the 35th Anniversary. Hopefully an equally strong showing for the mares.

The only definete that I'm bringing is Tate for the stallion exhibition/parade whatever.
I'm on the fence with Preston. If he comes it will be for a possible demo, exhibition, and the hunter stakes (or at least two of the three).
The only way I bring anything else is if something sells and I'm bringing it with me to deliever to the new owner.
And I agree Kim - so excited to see so many stallions there this year!!!

Great news that stallions will be at convention in force. I'm bummed that I can't make it this year, but my discretionary travel budget is going to WEG in Lexington. Anybody else going?

I also have a car show husband! He loves those cars and supports my equine habit very generously. He is wonderful, but I have learned over the years that 1 day of a car show/drag race/etc. is all I can handle. He does pretty well with the ATA meeting as there are many like him who are just tagging along. I usually don't do the car shows as he worries that I am not having a good time. He does better without me in that venue.

Well WWF and Anglotrak, our husbands can all hang out together ! My hubby spends his time in sports/hunting/fishing stores as well as car dealerships while I am at the horse show/meetings. We'll have to introduce them to each other.

Wayne and I plan to be there. We love to see all the boys and the mare shows and all the seminars. And of course, we get to see so many people we rarely get to see -- even those who are local.
For the 35th Anniversary, we have a special treat for those who are interested in the history -- we will have a panel of some of our founders who will talk about the founding of the ATA (for those of you who don't know how this organization came to be, it is very interesting). And we are encouraging -- really asking members to bring questions.
If you can't come, but have questions, please send them to me by email and I'll try to be certain they are asked.
Henry, Gerhard, Sue and Jean have all generously agreed to participate and although Leo is unable to attend, he and Doris will send a letter to be read. I am so excited to hear what they have to say, especially after interviewing just a few of them. Most people have no idea what we really owe these people.
Hope everyone will be able to attend the Founders' Panel.
