Connie, the expression on his face in photo #1 reminds me SO much of his daddy I laughed out loud. I've seen that expression countless times.
Can't wait to see more pix and of course, video.

Your handsome boy looks very happy in the tack for such a short time under saddle!

Connie, I sent these photos to Helmut, who agreed w/me, saying "it was just like looking at the old man" (esp. his expression when facing the camera)
Did you get video?

What a brave boy!
I can't help but say, though, it makes me sad to see a baby in draw reins, especially when they are the only reins. Soooo much leverage on the mouth can cause pain when the baby makes normal mistakes of balance or being scared.
Off soapbox, now.

Connie, he looks super! Not surprised to hear David's comments on balance; it's the most prevalent comment about Taz foals u/s, and Fritz has had it in spades since he hit the ground. Can't wait to see as he gains confidence/muscling. He's going to be awesome. Congratulations!

he looks fabulous, felt a litte drunk after watching the video. Looks like the video (owner) was more frazzled then the horse
What a beautiful facility and a great way to start the horse right.

Is he one of those born broke babies? Or did you do a lot of work so he would be comfortable at this stage?
