Again your country is suffering and mourning - this time because of that terrible accident in Texas.Our toughts and feelings -I am sure, the thoughts of the big Trakehner family worldwide - is with you all in the United states,with the families and friends of the victims and with all american Trakehner people,who are in grief in these hours and days.

Thank you for your kind words. I heard about the horrible accident on my way to a lesson, I was so upset I had to cancel. I can not imagine what their families are going through.

Erhard-thank you. As a member of a military family for the substantial majority of my almost sixty years--we are so proud of those wonderful folks who are willing to put their lives on the line--whether it be in battle, or in the name of science. These folks knew the risks, and were willing to take them because of their great love of their country and the opportunity to contribute. While nothing can console the families of those lost, we must remember that they, too, contributed more than we should have ever been willing to ask of them, and they did it willingly. And they not only deserve our prayers--they deserve our everlasting gratitude

Kammerland Trakehners

Vielen dank, Erhard. It was very hard driving to class Saturday morning thinking about those brave souls and trying to make sure there was no debris falling on my car. Unfortunately, the Columbia broke apart right over us (I live in Dallas.)
