I think there is an article written by Erhard in one of the 1991 issues of the ATA magazine where he talks about a mare family that I just can't remember the name now, but it starts with an A. He talks about Antares & his dam.

Erhard wrote the article I beleive it was published in 1991 at our magazine, that means Hefte must have first published a few years prior to that. It was on the Akuratesse line, and Antares' dam whose name escapes my mind was mentioned. There was a small picture of Antares who is by Ith whom I believe was a son of Ibikus.
Help us out here Erhard, please 
Kokette, I know I have read about her, but I am drawing a blank. Again we need to ask Erhard. His memory works better than his computer

Sorry,it's a different "Antares":Wendi's Antares by Kobalt out of Antilope by Wilder Jäger(family of Anta),imported in 1957 by Gerda Friedrichs,owned by the Schmockers in Canada,became a foundation sire of the young american Trakehner breed,sire of the ATA-stallions Filou and Karat and a number of registered mares.Among them there is Symphony,the dam of the ATA-stallion Staccato,who became quite successful in competion in your country?
And Staccato again is by Kyrill,who is keeping a "bloodline secret",as everybody knows.His dam Kokette - not the famous foundation mare Kokette by Cancara from the main stud Trakehnen - is by the Hanoverian sire Wolfgang out ouf the the Trakehner mare
Urinia.Surprised ? - But those things happened sometimes in those years,for saving valuable bloodlines.Not pure bred mares had to enter the preliminary studbook and four generations more had to be born for getting the licence to enter the main stud book again.Forbidden today,but Kokette was bred in 1960 and in those years the Trakehner gene pool was still very narrow,and who dares to criticize horsemen like Dr.Schilke,who were desperately trying to let the breed survive.....
