Maddalena's first training session

Today I had my trainer out to work with the kids. This was Lena's (by Tanzeln out of Mixta by Erzsand E) first time with him and she was very good. She learned free lunging, inside and outside turns and had a short session with her first bridle. So of course I had the camera ready for that "Kodak" moment. Here are a couple of a few dozen I took.

One more. Lena is learning to give to the bridle by putting her head lower every time. She almost ended with her head on the ground.

Lena is a yearling. Tracy Young(the trainer) likes to have the yearlings in a bit so they understand mild pressure in the month and it will transfer to halter leading. He went through the John Lyons course and is certified. He has clients call from all over the states to come out and start/retrain etc...When he has Lena leading correctly she will then start to load on the trailer. We have two months to her first show and it will be with big bother (1/2) Fritz (Tzigane/Mixta)

And when he worked with Fritz today I was again in "awe" There will be no "sale pending" on him for a while Grin
