Hi everone, I am sort of looking for progeny of Kantor II. I have a 20 year old gelding by him that is just a gem of a horse and I am really hoping to find another (younger: 5-10 years old) one like him!
My horse is actually out of a QH mare, and was bred by a nice family in Chester NY. I cannot remember their name or the dams names.. If anyone knows this family I would love contact info.
I am brand new to this board and found it in my search for this stallions progeny. I hope this thread is in the right place, my apologies if it is not...
Basically, I was hoping for some direction in my search to find another Kantor II relative for my next riding (event) horse.
Any tips /opions/advice greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!!

Heather Buttrum (Soverign Farm) has a Kantor II mare that she uses as a broodmare. She may have one of that mare's foals for sale...
I have a friend that is a trainer where he stood for a time in CA and I always liked him. Susan (my friend) always said that he was a sweet horse and liked his babies that he put on the ground.

Thanks for the info. My old horse is also super-uber sweet and pretty much was born pre-programmed! Definitely amateur friendly. He is retired for life with me, and I am hoping to find another gem like him... I had also heard, many years ago, that most of Kantor's babies were sweet like him...

I too am looking for information on Kantor II progeny. I have a sweet 10 year old mare (not for sale) whose lineage I am trying to trace. She was apparently foaled in 1999 when Kantor II was standing at Woodland Stallion Station in CA. If anyone should mention "Papillon" as you search for progeny, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, and good luck in your search for another Kantor baby!

Hey - I'll send you a PM. My very very good friend, Susan Garmier, is the trainer (or one of them) at Woodland Stallion Station and has been there since the early 90's (I visited her there in 92 and she had been there at least a year already). She was there when Kantor II was there. I'll send you her phone numbers and maybe she can help you regarding your mare. Or at least put you with the right people. Susan really liked Kantor, said he was very nice and easy going. I actually looked at him for one of my mares but by the time I got around to breeding her he was gone. I used to have a video and some other stuff on him that Susan sent me... I'm sure they are long gone now though.
