Our 2nd filly arrived a few days ago.  By Hailo *Pg*E* out of Center Swing xx, we plan to name her Cabela - barn name "Ella".

Thanks guys.  She's sweet - still a bit sensitive - but we haven't spent quite as much time with this one yet... 

Her TB dam is an excellent mover with good hind-end engagement and front-end knee action as well.  She has consistently passed it on to her kids.  This filly has more suspension than her dam does and much better neck/hip connections...

JC cut the mare's ears off - and its not great of the filly, but you can see how the mare moves  Cool

Beautiful filly Kari - If you hadn't said it was a Hailo baby I would have guessed him (or Imp) just based on the head.  You got the best of both worlds, type and movement!  I'm sure she is the sweetest thing around too. Very very nice!!

What a gorgeous face on that filly...absolutely lovely with soft doe eyes.   She's certainly nice all the way around but those eyes will make a person melt.  Congratulations!

So how normal is it for babies to piaffe?  Cabela went out in the paddock with her buddy the other night - and OH MY  Shocked. 

I'm used to airs above the ground and canter pirouette's, but this was a clean, pure piaffe Grin   Wish I'd had a video camera.

Guess this one's scheduled for a dressage career  Wink

I remember the first time I saw my filly do this I thought "Who told you you're supposed to do that?" It really is  a thrill, isn't it?
