So I have not posted alot lately and with good reason. Over 1 1/2 years ago my husband and I decided to take a risk and relocate our farm back toward the east coast. I took a job and we waited and waited and well are still waiting for the farm to sell. In the meantime I finally got sick of renting and we bought a not so fancy place on the east side. Decent amount of land, couple of outbuildings and a big ole farmhouse. Well there was work to do and I've been doing it and now I am finally able to start taking some of the herd my way. So tomorrow two of my homebreds will be arriving at Starry Night Trakehners East. Schwalbestrum and Sommer's Knight (1/2 brothers same dam) are due to arrive. It will be so nice to feel like I am still part of the farm. Hopefully more will follow soon. In the meantime saddles are coming with both horses and we will be exploring the new property and getting them both back into shape. Now if the real estate market would just nudge a little in our direction I could have all of our family back together.......
Saying a prayer for you that things will fall in place and your farm will sell and you can bring all your horses to the new farm. It must be frustrating just now.
