People keep asking for pix of Mystic Memories, the only Pinto OSB Trak mare in the US.

Thanks guys! Yes, she is definitely eye-catching!
She is by Kreshendo*Ps* out of Manjana by Makar. Manjana is pinto and is from Germany.  There are a few dozen pinto Traks in Europe these days, and the color comes from the Polish bloodlines.
I also have a full brother Mystic Fire (now a gelding) and will get new pics of hime one of these days....

I might be confused, as I am at work and can't actually See Manjana's papers, but isn't she OSB?  And, thank you, yes she is beautiful, she is out of my mare Manjana (as is Mystic Ice and the former Mystic Fire).  Manjana is alive and well and says hello to everyone in Trakehner land.  Still trying to figure out how to pay the vet bills to try for another baby.  Those vet bills for AI's and ultrasounds haven't gone down a bit in this lousy economy.  It must be killing you stallion owners to send semen out.  I can afford the stud fees, but the vet fees (and I am married to a small animal one) are killer.

Brenda, yes Manjana is also OSB. Sorry, I misspoke!! I think of her as "retired", as that is what you had said previously.
I hope you do try again with her - as her foals are worth the extra work - but totally agree that the costs involved with older mares can get to be outrageous!

If I was still breeding, I might consider the cross. But, alas, I am going back to the "riding world" and she is for sale. I prefer to ride the boys (personal preference).

Perhaps whoever buys her will want to perpetuate the color line? The cross could produce a homozygous offspring - that would be very valuable.

At any rate, no more babies for me!  I'm off to the FEI ring!
