Older broodmare in need of permanent home
« on: January 06, 2009, 02:01:16 AM »

Feenstaub, "Dani" is looking for a lifetime home.  She is by Mozart/Pregelstrand/Flugwind/Condus/Tannenburg.  She is sweet, easy to breed, sound, never been ill or suffered from colick or lameness issues.  She is 21 years old and my baby, unfortunately due to an accident I am unable to ride or breed any longer.  She is OSB, looks and acts, and is in the health of a 12 year old.  Vaccinated, floated, trimmed, haired up for winter and ready to be bred this season.  She is located in Bend, Oregon.  She is free to the right, permanent home breeding trakehners - based on interview with prospective owner.  Excellent foundation, excellent type, GREAT feet, straight legs, and GREAT jump.  She is still ridable and loves the trails.  She recently had an EH Michelangelo stallion prospect (seen at ATA convention).  She loads, hauls, bathes, stands quietly for farrier, breeding, palpation by owner in stocks and loves brushing and attention - a real cuddle.  She goes western and English, but loves the trails and goes easily in a rope halter under saddle, but requires a solid rider (she's forward, but not spooky).  She needs a mate with a shorter back and more modern trot (her's is great, just older style, but very uphill) and topline (her back is a little long), but her walk and canter are very good.  She has a few good babies left in her.  She is an excellent mother and foals easily.  Big boned, 16.1 hands, copper bay.  Please email me for photos at lara@gryphonfarm.com  Cry
