ATA Convention Show Results

Show results from LA are already up on the ATA website. Awesome! However, I noticed that Colstoi was 2nd in his class and overall colt champion. How can that be?

Also congratulations to all the approved mares. Looks like it was quite a bunch.

I noticed this mare, by Feuertanzer.  What a shame that he lost his approval!  He always impressed me with his beautiful foals.   I'd love to see a photo or this mare, and also Pam's model mare.

Beautiful mares!

But why did a State's Premium mare need to be ATA inspected?  Aren't the inspection results from Germany accepted by the ATA?

I just fat-fingered the listing for Lyman & Colstoi.  Colstoi won his class and the champion colt title.  Thanks for catching it!

also - it was Amorous that won model mare, Pam's very nice state's premium mare was just there for the show & exhibition

In Zukunft is already a States Premium + Premium Mare from the Trakehner Verband. 

The model mare was Amorous, by Butow *E* out of Amore by Hansel.

There are now photos up from the convention on the Burbank convention home page (ATA site). You will have to get there by clicking on the tab for conventions then choosing Burbank then scroll down to the click here for horses or people.

Will the ATA post the winners of the Photo Contest?  I would like to see the entries and the winners. There seems to be a link but it does nothing Angry and why would there be a Merchandise Auction link if you can not see it or bid on it Undecided

The purpose of the merchandise tab as well as the foal photo contest tab were for information and listing of entries/merchandise for the two catagories in advance of the convention. I am not sure who the winners were from the foal photo contest but possibly I can find out and post it on the ata site.
