I guess I'm going to be the only wet blanket, but it really upsets me to see (while the US economy is in such a struggle) American dollars going to the German economy. I have no quarrel with the horses bought; they are great. In fact, I have no business telling someone else what to do with their money. I wanted to bring in another view though.

THANK YOU ALL for your emails, your comments. We're thrilled, and it really hasn't quite registered yet. I am bone tired and have a ton of activities here before I head back to the US this week. Just wanted to say THANK YOU all. And the biggest Thank you to my friend Kerstin for her dedication, her support.
helloagain: the dollars you're missing bought VERY good horses for VERY little money that will all contribute to the US economy once they reach the US.
And I think this is the first time the top selling foal also became champion. I'll check into it, but I'm pretty sure it's a first. We can all have a glass of champagne in LA at the meeting - I'll be happy to bring a few bottles

Wow, he's certainly changed from the last time I saw him!  .
He was impressive then (as a yearling!) and he's more than fulfilled all expectations - what a HUNK! 
Can't wait to see the NMS video to see him in action. Congratulations again!
