I love Trakehners!

It was a wonderful day! I went to Austin to ride my boy for the first time. He has been in training for 3 months with a wonderful dressage trainer and I could not be more happy. This was the first time I ride my first home bred Trakehner. He was just great - super temperament, supple, relaxed, great rythm, etc... It was just a lovely day!
Here are some pictures of me and Mr. Man (Fairwind, by Windfall, out of Fairwell - Ravel/Rockefeller).

Thank you anissa for posting the pictures for your blond friend!
It was truly a red letter day to ride my first home bred. I am just over the moon about how good natured he is, and how much he loves his job.
K - no jumps YET. My barn manager, Paulina, is dieing to jump him. We will start on that in the spring. I like for them to be first level dressage and then start the gymnasticks.
Can't wait to see everyone next week at convention - MARGARITAS BABIES!!!!!
