I love Trakehners!

Oh, he is SO handsome! Annette and Mark Traband and their darling daughter, Lizzy, are in town for Tommie Turvey's "Night of Amazing Horses" Saturday. I had the chance to chat with Anette yesterday, and today I got to meet "Bob", as well as some other Trakehners she brought along.
Lizzy is riding her cute POA "Toby" bridleless in the show, and Annette is doing a a dressage and bridleless riding exhibition. It should be very fun to watch. I also met Lizzy's pony "Puddles", and although he isn't a Trakehner, I wanted to steal him. ADORABLE.
I am taking my kids to the show...it's only 3 miles away from the farm, and I know they'll LOVE it! I am hoping to be able to sneak Annette away so she can meet my broodies and babies before she leaves on Monday.
Just wanted to share!

Performance Matters!

I'm SO glad you got to meet Bob. IMO, one of our proven performance stallions we should be breeding to MUCH more while we still have the chance. I've really liked foals of his I've seen, and according to Annette, the older ones inherit his terrific jumping ability.
Joie, if you get any pix from the show, pls. post them. I'd love to see Lizzie, Toby, Puddles and of course any photos of Bob are always welcome!
